"The LORD will keep you from all harm - he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forever more." Ps 121:7-8
Today was a very busy day for Nate. From early morning until this evening many things transpired. Today Nate had to have a CT of his lungs to see if there was a blood clot in his lungs. Once again we see the mercy of our Heavenly Father and the results showed no blood clot. At this time they think his chest pain was due to his high potassium levels. Unfortunately they are not sure why this time his high levels affected him and not any other time. Obviously we see that our Father in Heaven works in ways not known to man, but through each difficult hill we must cross He carries us safely.
Nate also had dressing changes, another ECG, dialysis which needed to be run for 5 hours because it clotted the first time around (what else is new??) he will be having another ECHO either tonight or tomorrow morning.
Today Nate was extremely exhausted, with absolutely no energy to even talk. He is physically and emotionally drained. Sometimes we wonder if he is over doing it. At this time we would like to ask that visiting be brought to a minimal, with no visitors except family for the next day or two. Nate needs to be kept quiet and needs as much rest and sleep as possible.
They are hoping to send Nate back to the Burn Trauma Unit (BTU) sometime tomorrow D.V.
Please continue to pray for Nate, that he may continue to trust in his Heavenly Father. Pray for us, his family and for the medical staff.
...Keeping you close in thought and prayers. Praying that the Lord will provide Nathan with the peace of mind that he may rest in the Care of the Lord.
