"I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from?  My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth."  Psalm 121: 1-2

Last night (Sun night) I was called by the hospital to say that they moved Nate back to the ICU (south) due to chest pain.  By the time I arrived, he had already had an Echo, ECG, a ton of blood work, new medication and teams of doctors into see Nate.

Nate as far as they could tell did not suffer a heart attack, but they have confirmed that Nate has a heart condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome.  This is often a genetic syndrome that someone has but does not show itself until stress on the heart.  This syndrome is characterized by abnormal electrical pathways in the heart that causes disruption in the heart's normal rhythm. This can cause a very fast heart rate, dizzyness, shortness of breath, and many other serious things.  Today (Mon.) they are sending Nate for a test to see if he has a blood clot in his lungs, they are also concerned the chest pain may be due to pericarditis, which is an inflammation of the lining around the heart. When I lef t early this morning Nate was resting comfortably and they weren't doing anything new through the night.

With all this we can see how fragile Nate's life still is.  He is still very sick.

Please continue to uphold Nate in your prayers. Please continue to pray for us as family.  Please continue to pray for the doctors and nurses and other medical staff, especially today as they do more testing.
