"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."  Matt 7:7-8

God has heard so many  prayers, and has answered so many prayers.  He has graciously blessed Nate with faith and trust. Faith in His unfailing love and trust in His covenant promises.

Yesterday morning (Sat), Taryn and Aiden were able to see their dad for the first time in over two weeks.  They were a little hesitant at first, but with a little encouragement start talking to Nate.  They can't wait to see their Dad after church this afternoon.

Nathan understood their trepidation, and didn't push them.  He is eagerly awaiting their visit today.

Nathan is having difficulty sleeping, we pray that God will give him the rest Nate so desires.

This morning (Sunday) when I arrived, Nate was shifting himself in the bed, rolling onto his side (with some assistance)  'helping' the nurses with dressing changes and bearing the pain without a word of complaint.  Our Heavenly Father has given Nate so much strength, it even baffles the nurses.

This morning I was able to give my hubby breakfast in bed....Oh how romantic!!  he even enjoyed a cup of coffee.

Nathan himself has said many times how blessed we are.   Our family, our friends, and the communion of saints all praying for us and helping us through these times.  What rich blessings we have received from our Father in Heaven.

"You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to you and not be silent.  O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever."  Psalm 30:11-12
