"But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations." Ps 33:11

This week we once again have seen how the LORD's plans are awesome and perfect.  On Thursday (Feb 24) we received a phone call requesting Nathan come to the Regional Rehab Center to be admitted for the prosthetic rehab program- a 4-6 week program in which Nate will be getting his prosthetic leg.  So Friday we made the trek back to Hamilton to admit Nate to hospital once again.  He was seen by doctors, nurses, physio therapists and the prosthetic team. Once assessed by all the teams and met a whole new group of people, Nate was given his first weekend pass home.  Monday morning we have to return and Nate will start the week with casting his left limb for a prosthetic.  It takes approxiamtely a week for them to make the prosthetic, and so in the mean time they will be starting Nate on a physio program to prepare him for walking.  This means he will be having physio twice a day every day and when the prosthetic comes these twice day physio sessions will become longer and more intense.
Hopefully this will be Nate's last long term hospital stay, thankfully he will be given weekend passes home.

If you would like to visit Nate he will be at the Regional Rehab Center on Wellington, (attached to the General Hospital) Nate is on the second floor, in the spinal cord/amputee ward.  This is considered 2B south, Nate is in room 217, bed 1.  PLEASE contact Nate before visiting as he will be having many physio sessions and many doctor appointments and prosthetic appointments.  If you come and Nate is in physio or seeing someone in his room, please do not disturb him. If you are not sure how to contact him you can call or email us to get further info (if emailing please give me time to answer) Visiting hours are from 11 am - 8 pm.

Please continue to remember us in your prayer especially Nate as this session in hospital will probably include some pain with wearing a prosthetic, and much time away from family.

Thank you for your continued support, encouragement and prayers.
